Your Kedarnath trip package from Nagpur begins as you arrive in Haridwar (or Dehradun) and meet our driver. We’ll then drive towards Guptkashi (approx. 8 hours). En route, stop at Devprayag to witness the holy confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers (forming the Ganga). The road follows the Mandakini River, offering fresh mountain air and scenic views. By evening, reach Guptkashi. If time permits, visit the ancient Ardhnarishwar Temple here for blessings. Day 2: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Gaurikund – Trek to Kedarnath
Start early (around 4–5 AM) and drive towards Sonprayag. Here, switch to a local jeep for the 5 km ride to Gaurikund (the trek starting point). From Gaurikund, begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath. It’s a steep 6–8 hour hike through gorgeous mountain landscapes, with small dhabas (tea shops) along the path to rest. (Alternate: If you don’t want to walk, you can hire a pony/palki or even book a helicopter ride instead.) By afternoon, arrive at Kedarnath and feel the spiritual aura of this sacred valley. Visit the Kedarnath Temple and perform darshan. In the evening, if you’re there in time, attend the divine Aarti ceremony for a truly mesmerizing experience. Later, check in at a simple guesthouse or camp near the temple. Dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Day 3: Kedarnath – Trek Down to Gaurikund – Back to Guptkashi
Wake up to a glorious sunrise over Kedarnath. You may attend the special 4 AM Abhishek pooja at the temple for an intimate start to the day. After a light breakfast or tea, begin your return trek down to Gaurikund around 6–7 AM. The 16 km descent takes 5–6 hours (much quicker than the climb). By early afternoon, you will reach Gaurikund. Take the shuttle jeep back to Sonprayag, where your driver will meet you. Drive to Guptkashi and relax after the long trek. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Guptkashi, sharing stories of your Kedarnath experience.
